Welcome to our website!

We are proud to introduce our company as a California Green Contractor since early 2006!

With our specialized equipment and an experienced staff, we can professionally supply and install pervious concrete on any project with quality and cost effective service anywhere in California. Any job ... any size, from 3,000 square feet to 50+ acres.

When looking for the right contractor, don't fall into the trap. Consider whether or not the contractor has the means and methods to perform responsibly. Has the contractor a track record of satisfactory completed projects? Ask for experience. Do you really want a contractor to "practice" at your site?

The right contractor will be certified by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, not just a ready mix company / supplier. The NRMCA National Certification Program is basically a three part program. The first part is to acquire certification as a Pervious Concrete Technician. This involves the candidate attending a seminar, using a manual, taking a test and then performing a hands on placement of at least two loads of pervious concrete. A passing score of 70% will result in certification as a "technician".

The second level of experience requires further testing, including verification of the candidates true knowledge by the American Concrete Institute. Review of previous placements are made by an NRMCA representative and are graded as to their quality. Enviro-Crete, Inc. has never received below an "A" rating on any project.

As of June 13, 2008, Enviro-Crete was still the first and only contractor to have achieved the status of Pervious Concrete Installer in the State of California.

The final classification the NRMCA issues is "Craftsman". The requirements are that you must first be a Pervious Concrete Technician, then an Installer, and then after many more placement hours / projects, your experience shall be reviewed by the NRMCA certification Area Director. Placement techniques must include the knowledge of the materials to make onsite decisions as to the quality of both the delivered materials as it comes out of the truck and to have an in depth understanding as to the end placement result. According to the NRMCA, there is only ONE certified Craftsman in the United States located in Florida. Other people claiming to be a certified placement Craftsman are possibly only certified by a ready mix producer.

Many agencies require a "NRMCA Certified" contractor in their bid specs, as not all contractors are qualified equal.
